We have a maintenance window each week right after the Monday (Sunday US time) backup. This maintenance may take up to one hour. While many weeks the window will remain unused, please be prepared to be offline during that time.

Today's Change Log
Removed the chance of getting a toolbox from the treasure chests and replaced with a chance for one of the following: Valentines, garden gnome, green garden gnome, yule goat, yule reindeer, snow lantern, soft cap, fireworks, transmutation liquid, sculpting wand, farwalker amulet, spyglass, bag of keeping
During the beginning stages of the server before we had smiths the tools were needed and valuable, but we've reached the point where they will hinder both the economy and the growth of the server.

Today's Change Log
Objectives for Changes – to re-balance economy and mob spawns to better fit the player base on the server
Treasure Maps Reduced coin by 50% There is still one automatic sleep powder, reduced chances for additional sleep powder by 50% Reset Spawn chances to default values – to end testing
Bounty mod Removed all bounties from passive creatures. Reduced bounties on all creatures except uniques and rift creatures.
Creature Spawns Changed total passive creatures from 12,500 to 7,200 Changed total aggressive creatures from 12,500 to 10,800
In the course of the changes we had to clear the brands database. If you had a brand on any creature it has been removed and will need to be re-applied.
It could take a few days for the creature count to reach the new max. We will keep an eye on that and asses the dynamics again once that max is reached.

Changelog for today
Treasure maps - reset coin and sleep powder to default.
Bounty Mod - increased bounties on all aggressive creatures.
We anticipated making minor adjustments after seeing the impact of the re-balance at the beginning of August.

Brell's Paw - opened
Daily backups turned off (Ping Perfect does a daily backup that will stay on file for 19 days)
Bi-weekly manual backups will be on Mondays and will be GM announced at least 15 minutes in advance.
At GM discretion backups may be processed at any time with a 15 minute warning.
Ping perfect restarts their machines on Mondays at 6 am Central Time.

Yesterday's Change Log
Updated bounty mod for more realistic bounty on rift creatures. Turned on cold impact - Survival mod Set the maximum favor for spells to 90 - this is to compensate for the fact that priests cannot link across deities.

Yesterday's changelog - sorry the discord issue took my time and this didn't get posted. The addition of the Cavus Nostra mod hand some unintended and unforseen consequences. A big Thank you to Coldie for helping us resolve in a manner that is fitting for RP but doesn't take anything away from, players.
Removed the Cavus Nostra mod - Replaced with a special mod giving us a horse called a mustang that can climb the same slopes as the unicorns.
Added the FishMonger mod to make fishing a viable profession.
Turned on Winter Effects (these will be turned off in two weeks)

Changelog - Today (sorry My niece was born on Monday so it didn't happen.)
Treasure map config - removed the Julboard and added bag of keeping in it's place (mod's intent). Updated the spawns on treasure chests to spawn more appropriate mobs for the ql of the map. When the lock didn't work and mobs could be left behind we didn't want to spawn anything that didn't naturally spawn.

Sorry it took me this long to finish live testing the changes from our Monday maintenance. Here are the changes.
1) Turned on cold impact from Survival mod - this will be turned off in two weeks. 2) Updated Drake Mount mod - They can now move on their own. Their speed has been slightly increased. 3) Updated Mustang mod - More fitting with the Mustangs of the American west and our concept of the mod they cannot be hitched to carts and their carry capacity is limited. They are small and nimble. We are still looking for a solution to their independent movement.

Lava tiles added Hell Horse Spawners added - to fix lack of Hell Horse Spawns Survival mod removed - a very tough decision. More Potabales removed - No longer working correctly HighwayPortals added as written. Crafters mod added configured to be used as part of the Jenkins quest line.

Database and rendering management - added buyer for goblin skulls at echo mine. Quality of life - Removed dig to ground and replaced it with better digging. Enabled dig to dragged cart, dig to boat, and use from tile, dragged cart or boat. - Added bdew's Action Timer Fix mod as described below. We enabled all fixes except spells. Shorter timers on spells would create an imbalance in combat. "Fixes many action timers that ignore the action time multiplier setting Affected actions: All spells, Flatten, Level, Sow, Sacrifice, Pray, Meditation, Alchemy, Destroying, Rummaging, Breeding, Bow and fishing rod stringing/unstringing, Painting and removing paint"

We have had a slow money overflow on the server because we have kept adding ways to earn it without increasing the cost of living. These changes are intended to increase roleplay and rebalance the economy.(edited) December 28, 2020
EmmaGrace12/28/2020 Mod changes Re-introduced the bounty mod for creatures above 30. Bounties reduced to balance the economy. Removed the skill mod to prepare balance for server linking.
Other - re-balanced the prices the buyers are paying to help balance the economy.
Added three spawners for hellhounds to compensate for the lack of natural spawns.
