Vrystoria is a world created by EmmaGrace and Dragon. The concept is a world with a living story and the world should have sort of a D&D meets Wurm feel. Here are some suggestions for playing your character in the world.
1. Remember that roleplay is both interaction with other characters, and interaction with world content such as NPC's and items.
2. When you encounter NPC's, creatures, or items in the world that are named they will probably be a part of the story. You can learn more about them by asking. Perhaps asking one of the NPC's or perhaps searching the library or the area around where you found them. - This is accomplished by contacting the GM responsible for that story arc, and may require dice rolls to determine how much information you learn.
3. This is not a PvP server to discourage griefing but appropriate in character actions can be facilitated by GM upon request. For instance, someone leaves a catapult on your deed. How would your character respond? Would they really just push it off deed? or would they burn it? drag it back to the owners deed and to the top floor of their house? Think about it and ask.
4. While we understand that things come up IRL, it is the GM's responsibility to keep the story moving for everyone involved. If a player/character holds an item or information of importance, it is their responsibility to act within two weeks. If two weeks pass without any action from the character, the GM will determine the best way to continue story progress.
5. Be creative and have fun! We have lots of ideas and potential paths. This is not a story written by the GM's. It is a living story and the GM's are here to facilitate it.
