Wurm has released 1.6 to open beta, we are starting the process of testing our mods to see if any are incompatible.

Players can now investigate tiles with a trowel and find fragments of items (when combined they can have enchantments and runes attached)
- Mine door textures and animations added
- Bulk to bulk transfers (meaning we can get rid of the bulk transfer mod)
- Better creature movement AI
- Saddlebags have been added
- Dig directly into pile has been implemented (meaning we can get rid of the digging mod)
- We can clear furnace to collect ash using a shovel
- Armour can be dyed and colour shown when worn
- Some items can be coloured in multiple ways depending on the material dyed (example a banners cloth-part can be dyed white while the wooden stand can be dyed black)
- Increased variety of metal items made via any metal
- Chance to gain affinity in skills upon a successful skill check
Every 2 hours a 15 second window of time opens where every successful skill check has a chance to gain an affinity in that skill. Chances: - 0 affinities: 1 / 500
- 1 affinities: 1 / 1000
- 2 affinities: 1 / 1500
- 3 affinities: 1 / 2000
- 4 affinities: 1 / 2500

This is very exciting. I personally can't wait to rack up some affinities.

Thanks for that Griswold. We are waiting on GTX (our hosting service) to get the upgrade done and then we will be able to upgrade. Until then, you can roll back and continue to play on 1.5. We will keep updates posted as we have them.

We are working with the tech support at GTX to get the modlauncher working. Hopefully it will be quick and we'll be back up soon.

Hey guys, Trepida has pointed out that there's a bug with priests since the update.
If you're a priest you'll find priest restrictions are turned on.
We (the server) and many others are waiting on Sindusk to patch his mod so it's compatible with 1.6, and looking at his github account I can tell you that he is working hard.
If you yourself are a priest and find yourself unable to play, we suggest that you take a screenshot or make some record of your faith and turn off faithful. Turning off faithful will mean that performing actions will decrease your faith over time. When this issue has been addressed we'll return your faith to the number recorded.

Here are a few quick notes on today's maintenance.
1. We have fixed the priest mod 2. We have fixed bag of holding 3. We have fixed crop rot 4. We have fixed dig to ground - it now works a little differently, for manual digging you must set the hotkey that is now default to Wurm, but the mod kicks in for the level command. 5. We have fixed the water for survival 6. We have fixed the announcer mod 7. We have fixed the creature age mod 8. We have fixed a few other things that we discovered in the process of fixing the items listed above.
Please continue to keep us up to date if you see anything else.
